David is in his 12th year as Park County Coroner. David ran on the slogan of Integrity and Respect in 2010 and has never wavered. Being a voice for the deceased and supporting families have always been his priorities as coroner. David has worked on hundreds of cases here in Park County and has shown his passion for this career and passion for being our Coroner.

WHY COUNTY CORONER

"When I was 17 years old I found my aunt deceased in the family home. My father was out of town and my grandmother was a wreck. Former Coroner Sharon Morris arrived and she helped so much and showed so much respect to my aunt and family. Remembering I was only 17, and was going to have to make the decisions, Sharon took me aside and helped me through that difficult day. From that day I have wanted to be Coroner."

• Board Certified Medicolegal Death Investigator - ABMDI

• Office Fully Accredited by the IACME under his leadership since 2015 and is the smallest accredited in the country!!

• Fingerprint Examiner

• Established Coroner CARE Team to support families and friends of the deceased since 2016

• Nationally Registered Paramedic
